Idiot Alert File memberships are being awarded to a group again. This time, the first membership goes out to the Jefferson County, Alabama, geometry teacher who used assassinating President Barack Obama as a way to teach angles. The teacher was introducing his geometry students to the mystery of parallel lines and angles, officials say, when he used the example of where to stand and aim if shooting Obama. Joseph Brown, a senior in the geometry class, told reporters, "He was talking about angles and said, 'If you're in this building, you would need to take this angle to shoot the president.' " Brilliant mind, wouldn't you say?
The next memberships go out to the school board officials who failed to fire the idiot when they were informed of his deliberate ignorance. Explain to me, if you can, how this is a man who should be allowed to instruct any one, and while you do it, please spare me the usual drivel about how one "mistake" shouldn't cost him his livelihood. It was no mistake. This so-called educator knew exactly what kind of hate he was indulging in, when he opened his mouth to spew this garbage at his pupils.
