The Idiot Alert Files grant first-degree Idiocy Membership to all those who took part in the vandalism, rioting and looting last night in Montreal, under the pretense of celebrating the Habs' win over Sidney and the boys.
The brain-dead wonders started their wandering down the pathways of witlessness at about 12:20 a.m. when they broke the windows of a liquor store. One particularly moronic muttonhead was heard yelling "Want anything from the liquor store?" before heading in to join the looters already busily stealing for all they were worth.
Since Montreal has a history of so-called fans using hockey as an excuse for breaking the law, messages were repeated throughout the broadcast of the game at the Bell Centre, exhorting those gathered to celebrate with “respect and dignity.” Such messages are, of course, not necessary for those who do understand the concept of respectfulness. For those too mentally challenged to grasp such complicated ideas, such messages are simply something to be ignored, and they did just that. Before these dimwits were finished, more than one store had been broken into and looted, obscenities were chanted at the police and bottles thrown at them.
It is indeed sad that the losers who indulged in the lunacy of last night's riots should form any part of Montreal's reputation, but they do. It is also sad that anyone should think less of the sport of hockey because such dolts use it as an excuse for their asininity.
So, welcome to the Idiot Alert Files, all you jackasses. The rank and file of inanity are proud of you.
