With the snowstorm currently covering Toronto, it is unlikely that any local groundhog who ventured out of its hole today would see its shadow. I don't know what Wiarton Willie might have seen, but the only thing to be seen in this locale is snow and more snow, making its way down to the streets of good ol' T.O.
I love this weather and one of the best ways to celebrate it, for me, is to get out in it. Sometimes, I cross-country ski. Sometimes, I hike. Today, I simply went walking on local streets temporarily loaned an ethereal beauty by the storm. As I walked, I watched the snow falling.
Have you ever really watched snowflakes making their way to the ground? They dance their way down! Some twirl themselves about in a stately waltz while others abandon themselves to a joyful boogie, but none of them execute a straight, business-like line. They all dance their way down!
